Art Talk/Guided Gallery visit of the UNTITLED ENVIRONMENT

On Saturday, November 17 at 6 p.m., The MIAMI INSTITUTE OF PHOTOGRAPHY together with the MIAMI NEW MEDIA FESTIVAL will host a talk about video art and a guided gallery visit of the UNTITLED ENVIRONMENT exhibit with artists Julia Zurilla & Gabriela Gamboa. The event includes the projection of large-scale video of pioneer video artists such as Bill Viola, Nam June Paik and Robert Wilson. “UNTITLED ENVIRONMENT sets us up against two forms of landscape in which the visual overcomes the visible and the image overflows it’s own presence. Two forms of landscape operating as mechanisms, encompassing different discourses and textualities but also becoming a space for critique, suspicion and quest.” Sandra Pinardi.
The UNTITLED ENVIRONMENT exhibit of Julia Zurilla & Gabriela Gamboa will be on view until November 24, 2018, at the MIP Miami Institute of Photography in Miami, Florida.
